Project Description

During the last two decades, CSEM has worked on a pioneering device worn at the wrist level that is able to monitor accurately the heart rate. Years of research in the system design and on the enhancement of photoplethysmography (PPG) signals recorded by the device have been necessary to bring the PPG approach to a wearable wrist device for heart rate monitoring. Importantly, this device is non-obtrusive, inconspicuous, user-friendly, and easy to link via wireless communication.
