Project Description

The goal of this project is to define the ideal characteristics of the yarn-shaped sensors in terms of requirements necessary during fabrication processes (abrasion/heat resistance), geometricalcharacteristics (length, shape, diameter, reel length of the yarns), sensing performances of a singledevices (linearity, sensitivity, response time, elongation range, hysteresis...) or the sensing system as awhole (area occupation, power consumption.
